About The Position

Clean Harbors is seeking a Local Class A Tanker Driver for its safety-conscious team in Baltimore, Maryland. The route runs from Baltimore to surrounding areas and averages 60 hours per week. The role offers annual earning potential of $110,000, weekly earning potential of $2,000, a $7,500 sign-on bonus, and weekly overtime opportunity. Per diem may apply.

Requirements

• Class A CDL.
• At least 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• At least 3 months of tanker experience.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements.
• Ability to climb and work from heights.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to effectively use required technology, including mobile applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety by complying with safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting safely at all times.
• Operate tractor-trailer tanker units.
• Adhere to weight limits and ensure proper utilization of units.
• Ensure hazardous and non-hazardous waste is properly loaded and unloaded, and secure loads appropriately.
• Placard vehicles in accordance with company and Department of Transportation requirements and regulations.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.
