About The Position

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking Class A drivers with a passion for customer service and a safety-first mindset. This route delivery driver operates a company motor vehicle to transfer freight safely and efficiently between specified locations by designated times. The role unloads, sorts, palletizes, and reloads freight, manually or with mechanical assistance, and completes paperwork required by government regulations and company procedures and policies. This is a local position with daily home time and dedicated routes. The schedule is Monday through Friday with a 7 a.m. start, and compensation is $33 per hour.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 21 years of age.
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• No DUI or DWI convictions in the past 3 years.
• No more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years.
• Must have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain them.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Deliver and/or pick up freight at customer locations and/or a terminal as directed by dispatch or the immediate supervisor.
• Ensure shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies shipments to their delivery points.
• Load and/or unload a wide variety of freight at customer locations and at the terminal, with or without mechanical assistance depending on freight size.
• Unload, sort, palletize, and reload freight.
• Complete paperwork required by government regulations and company procedures and policies.
