About The Position

MedTrans is Medline’s private fleet of professional drivers, delivering medical products to commercial and residential customers. The fleet includes more than 2,100 trucks and operates through a network of over 50 distribution centers, providing one-day shipping to 95% of the United States.

The Driver operates a Class A vehicle to transport medical products to local customers. The role supports positive customer relationships through timely, accurate, and safe deliveries. Drivers load and secure products, travel between the Medline facility and customer destinations, unload and deliver products, provide in-person customer support and delivery documentation, coordinate route or schedule adjustments with dispatch, maintain required logs, and inspect the vehicle for safe operation and adequate fuel.

Requirements

• Class A CDL and license to operate the assigned vehicle.
• At least 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Ability to meet all federal and state requirements for operating commercial motor vehicles.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations.
• Ability to frequently move, lift, and carry supplies or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure products from the Medline facility into a truck.
• Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route.
• Follow Medline safety regulations, including wearing required safety equipment and performing safety checks.
• Unload and deliver products at customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Provide in-person customer support by addressing questions and needs and providing appropriate delivery documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch about route or schedule adjustments needed to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
• Maintain travel and cargo logs in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy.
• Inspect the vehicle to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel for continued use.
