About The Position

MedTrans is Medline's private fleet of professional drivers, delivering medical products to commercial and residential customers. The fleet includes more than 2,100 trucks and operates a network of over 50 distribution centers, providing one-day shipping to 95% of the United States.

The Driver operates a Class A vehicle to transport medical products to local customers. The role helps build positive customer relationships through timely, accurate, and safe deliveries.

Requirements

• Class A CDL and license to operate the assigned vehicle.
• At least 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet all federal and state requirements for operating commercial motor vehicles.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations.
• Ability to frequently move, lift, and carry supplies or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure product from the Medline facility into a truck.
• Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route, following safety regulations and using required safety equipment.
• Unload and deliver product at customer facilities in a timely manner.
• Provide in-person customer support, answer questions, address needs, and provide appropriate delivery documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch about route or schedule adjustments needed to serve customers and maintain safe operations.
• Maintain travel and cargo logs in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy.
• Inspect the vehicle to ensure it is safe to operate and has sufficient fuel.
