Local Class A CDL Delivery Driver
About The Position
Chesbay Distributing is seeking a Local Class A CDL Delivery Driver. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, offering weekends off and the opportunity to be home daily with local routes. The driver will be responsible for unloading and delivering products to customers, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, safely operating a commercial motor vehicle with conveyors and carts, and securely operating powered industrial trucks and material handling equipment. Responsibilities also include picking up returned products, payments, and pallets, and completing necessary paperwork. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- At least 1 year of driving experience with a Commercial License
- Must be 21 years of age
- Ability to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds

- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
Responsibilities
- Unloading and delivering products to customers
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle
- Safely and professionally operating a commercial motor vehicle including conveyors and carts
- Securely operating powered industrial trucks and/or material handling equipment such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck
- Picking up returned products including payments and pallets
- Completing delivery and pick up paperwork
- Other duties as assigned
