About The Position

Mitchell Distributing is hiring Local CDL Class A Delivery Drivers to deliver beverage products to retail customers on local routes. This hands-on role is suited to drivers who enjoy active work, working independently, and building customer relationships. Drivers are home daily and work Tuesday through Friday, with routes beginning at approximately 5:00 a.m. Routes end when scheduled deliveries are complete, so end times may vary based on route and delivery volume. Earning potential is up to $52,000 annually, including case incentives. Employment offers are conditional upon successful completion of required background screening and drug testing.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Safe driving record.
• Current DOT medical certification.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Professional, customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfort with performing a physically active delivery job.
• Ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to push and pull loaded carts weighing more than 100 lbs.
• Ability to enter and exit the truck frequently, and bend, reach, stoop, walk, and move product throughout the workday.
• Successful completion of required background screening and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial delivery vehicle on an assigned local route.
• Deliver beverage products accurately and efficiently to retail customers.
• Unload, rotate, and organize products at customer locations.
• Maintain product displays and merchandising standards.
• Provide professional, dependable service to customers.
• Work alongside and provide direction to a Route Assistant.
• Complete required DOT inspections and delivery documentation.
• Follow all company, DOT, and safety requirements.
