About The Position

Local Drivers help keep products moving and customers satisfied by delivering materials safely and on time. The role involves local routes between company facilities, warehouses, and customer sites, helping keep operations running smoothly. This position is scheduled for 3rd shift, 11pm–7am, Monday–Friday. Weekly pay starts at $27.10 per hour based on experience, with an additional $3.00 shift differential for 3rd shift. Benefits are effective immediately.

Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
Clean driving record in accordance with company and DOT standards.
Knowledge of applicable DOT regulations and local traffic laws.
Ability to operate straight trucks, box trucks, and dump trucks with small trailers.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Drive and deliver materials safely across local routes connecting company facilities, warehouses, and customer sites.
Perform pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and cargo to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
Secure loads using appropriate equipment and protect cargo during transport.
Maintain accurate driver logs and other required documentation, including delivery records and fuel usage.
Communicate with dispatch, warehouse teams, and customers to ensure delivery accuracy and resolve issues.
Follow safety protocols and procedures, including those specific to loading docks, forklifts, and packaging environments.
Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and notify appropriate personnel about mechanical issues.
Support warehouse operations and assist with loading and unloading as needed.
