About The Position

Mitchell Distributing is hiring Local CDL Class D Delivery Drivers to deliver beverage products to retail customers on assigned local routes. This hands-on position is suited to drivers who enjoy active work, operating independently, and building customer relationships. Drivers are home daily and work Tuesday through Friday, with routes beginning at approximately 5:00 a.m. Routes end when scheduled deliveries are complete, so daily end times may vary based on route and delivery volume. The position offers earning potential of up to $45,000 annually, including case incentives, and stable, year-round work. Employment offers are conditional upon successful completion of required background screening and drug testing.

Requirements

• Valid Class D LCDL.
• Safe driving record.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Professional, customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfort performing a physically active delivery job, including lifting and carrying products up to 50 lbs., pushing and pulling loaded carts weighing more than 100 lbs., frequent truck entry and exit, and bending, reaching, stooping, walking, and moving product throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial delivery vehicle on an assigned local route.
• Deliver beverage products accurately and efficiently to retail customers.
• Unload, rotate, and organize products at customer locations.
• Maintain product displays and merchandising standards.
• Provide professional, dependable service to customers.
• Work alongside and provide direction to a Route Assistant.
• Complete required DOT inspections and delivery documentation.
• Follow all company, DOT, and safety requirements.
