About The Position
Drive for a dedicated Lidl account near Perryville, Maryland, delivering freight to retail locations. The position offers daily home time and two consecutive days off each week. Drivers earn mileage pay and availability pay, with the potential for a Safe and On-Time bonus. Average earnings are $1,933 per week (approximately $100,535 per year), with top weekly pay of $2,570 (approximately $133,647 per year). The operation runs seven days a week, with start times between 6 p.m. and 1 a.m. Drivers average 1,800 miles and approximately 10–20 stops per week. Routes travel from Perryville to Pennsylvania, Staten Island in New York, and New Jersey, then return to the distribution center. Drivers load and unload freight using pallet jacks. Trucks cannot be taken home.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- No SAP drivers.
- Clean driving record.
- DOT Medical card.
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Reliable transportation.
- Reliable and safety-focused.
- Able to work weekends.
Responsibilities
- Deliver freight to retail locations for the dedicated Lidl account.
- Travel assigned routes from Perryville, Maryland, to Pennsylvania, Staten Island in New York, and New Jersey, returning to the distribution center.
- Load and unload freight using pallet jacks.
- Work weekends as required by the seven-day operation.
