About The Position
The Local CDL-A Truck Driver operates dedicated grocery delivery routes from the Aurora distribution center to King Soopers stores. The role involves approximately 1,700 miles per week, typically 1–3 loads per day and around 13 stops per week, with a mix of live-unload and drop-and-hook freight. Drivers are home daily on regular routes and have access to newer equipment and 24/7 operational support. Some mountain routes and occasional overnight runs during busy periods may occur. The schedule is six days on followed by two days off. The operation runs 24/7, including evenings, nights, and early mornings; schedules vary and are not fixed. Average weekly pay is $1,625, with top weekly pay of $1,650. Average annualized earnings are $84,500, with top annualized earnings of $85,800.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Minimum of 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- No SAP drivers.
- Clean driving record.
- DOT Medical card.
- Able to work weekends.
- Reliable and safety-focused.
