About The Position

The CDL Driver at SRS Building Products in Lakeland delivers building materials safely and on time to customer job sites, verifies inventory, follows safety protocols, and maintains high service standards. Drivers inspect vehicles, confirm inventory, secure loads, assess job-site conditions, coordinate material placement with customers, and document deliveries with photos according to company policy. The position also includes occasional yard support. Drivers travel within a 200-mile radius, with no overnight stays, and must adapt to long hours, fast-paced schedules, varied weather, and noisy environments. The role requires the ability to handle materials weighing up to 100 pounds, load and unload using forklifts or manually, and read job-related documents in English. Required credentials include a valid CDL Class A or B with an air brakes endorsement, a current DOT Medical Certificate, and FMCSA registration. Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A or B with air brakes endorsement.
• Clean driving record.
• Current DOT Medical Certificate.
• FMCSA registration.
• 1–2 years of relevant commercial driving experience.
• Ability to operate forklifts or Moffett equipment safely.
• Ability to handle materials weighing up to 100 pounds and perform loading and unloading duties.
• Ability to work long hours and in varied weather and noisy environments.
• Ability to communicate effectively and read job-related documents in English.
• Must be at least 18 years old; 21 years old for interstate or hazmat work.
• Must pass applicable background checks, drug tests, E-Verify, and FMCSA Clearinghouse verification.
• Demonstrated safety compliance, including inspections and adherence to DOT and OSHA regulations.
