About The Position
NIS Express is hiring experienced CDL-A drivers in East Point, Georgia, for a local container account. Drivers handle multiple loads per day around metro Atlanta, averaging about 2,000 miles per week and $1,400 in weekly gross pay. The position is home daily. Day and night shifts are available, and scheduled weekend work is required. Freight moves locally between rail yards and customers around Atlanta. Work includes drop-and-hook, live loads, live unloads, and preloads. Drivers perform pre-trip inspections on rail chassis before every move.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 6 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Live within 50 miles of Fairburn, Georgia.
- Have no more than 2 moving violations in 2 years, no major preventable accidents in 5 years, and no DUI/DWI in 5 to 10 years.
- Pass hair and urine drug testing.
