About The Position
Drive intermodal containers on chassis for a dedicated local operation serving the Hutchins, Texas area. Freight movements are local and regional, within an approximately 250-mile operating radius. The role includes a combination of drop-and-hook, live loads, live unloads, and preloaded moves. Drivers are home daily. Day and night shifts are available, with schedules running Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday. Weekend work is required, and holiday work may be needed. Average weekly earnings are $1,000–$1,100. No sign-on bonus is offered.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Minimum 3 months of qualifying tractor-trailer experience; the posting also specifies a minimum of 6 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- Experienced first-seat drivers only; trainees are not accepted.
- Live within 30 miles of the designated hiring ZIP code.
- Be available for assigned day or night shifts and required weekend work.
- Meet applicable safety and qualification standards.
- No SAP drivers.
- Clean driving record.
- DOT medical card.
- Reliable and safety-focused.
