About The Position

The Lobby Houseperson is responsible for maintaining standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments in public spaces. This role involves cleaning and servicing assigned areas according to franchise and hotel standards, handling guest complaints to ensure satisfaction, and observing all house and safety rules. The position also requires completing additional deep cleaning and seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum one year cleaning experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cleans hotel public areas as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness.
• Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints.
• Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
• Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
• Cleans and services assigned public spaces according to franchise and hotel standards.
• Returns and restocks cart at end of shift.
• Complete additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.
