About The Position

The Housekeeping Lobby Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel lobby and public areas. This includes cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking supplies to ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize all lobby areas, including floors, furniture, and fixtures.
  • Empty trash cans and ashtrays regularly.
  • Clean and sanitize public restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.
  • Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Vacuum carpets and rugs.
  • Mop floors as needed.
  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assist guests with inquiries and requests as needed.
  • Respond to guest complaints and issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and restock as needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.
