About The Position

The Loaner Technician provides general warehouse services supporting inbound logistics, including receiving new and returned products, inspections, loaner kit replenishment, and decontamination. The technician is a first level of support for issue resolution and trains less-experienced team members in inbound logistics functions. The role also requires maintaining a clean and safe work environment and performing other duties as business needs require.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clear verbal and written communication in English.
• Computer skills and experience with a warehouse management system (WMS).
• Ability to complete required process documentation clearly and accurately.
• Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to make informed decisions and work well with others.
• Ability to coordinate collaboratively and in a solutions-oriented manner with other departments and personnel.
• Willingness to work overtime and holidays on short notice as required, and cover a rotating on-call schedule.

Nice To Haves

• Medical device kit inspection, decontamination, and processing experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect instruments and implants in loaner sets returned from customers.
• Process all loaner sets through Implant Base and SAP.
• Identify and remove non-conforming products from loaner kits and loose returns.
• Repackage products as required.
• Decontaminate returned loaner kits according to applicable work instructions.
• Inspect and test instruments to verify they are in proper working condition.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Replace damaged labels and remove ancillary labels from loaner kit cases and trays as needed.
• Answer inspection questions, resolve issues, and support the management escalation procedure.
• Train and provide job-specific instruction to less-experienced operators in inbound logistics functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required by business needs.
