About The Position

This role involves performing system loan input and maintenance, ensuring data integrity in Loan Origination Systems (LOS), and providing operational support to branches. The specialist will also handle the setup, processing, and payment of escrow items on loans, and serve as a backup for other positions. A key aspect of the role is maintaining compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, participating in examinations and audits, and adhering to the Information Security Program. The position also requires developing a strong understanding of the Bank's products and services to provide quality customer service and build relationships.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • One year of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Above average verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to outlying branch areas, as business needs dictate.
  • Regular customer service problem solving using established variables.
  • Close up visual attention to detailed materials and effective hearing/verbal communication skills are needed.
  • Must make accurate visual inspection of printed and/or written materials.
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform system loan input and maintenance, as required.
  • Ensure data integrity in the Loan Origination Systems (LOS).
  • Provide operational support to branches including problem resolution, process improvement and efficiencies that are consistent with the corporate goals and objectives.
  • Complete set up, processing and payment of escrow items on loans, as required.
  • Serve as a backup for other position(s) and perform other duties, as assigned.
  • Enhance career through work experience and continuing education.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations.
  • Participate and respond to examinations, audits and third party reviews.
  • Comply with the Information Security Program and is accountable for maintaining a high level of risk and security awareness.
  • Establish a good image for the Bank by being active and visible in the community.
  • Attend meetings as assigned.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the Bank’s products and services through usage and webex attendance to provide quality customer service while building relationships and exceeding expectations.
