About The Position

First Hawaiian Bank is seeking a Loan Servicing Specialist to join its Retail Credit Service Center team. The role services Home Equity, Small Business, Auto, and Personal loans and lines, and assists branches, departments, and customers with loan servicing inquiries and account maintenance.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; hours may vary. The hourly pay range is $17.75–$22.75, commensurate with experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in general clerical, administrative, customer service, or a related field.
• Ability to plan, organize, and budget.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential matters judiciously.
• Attention to detail and excellent follow-through.
• Ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Sales skills to enhance business development objectives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel, and ability to learn various software programs.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred.
• Banking experience in the consumer loan area, with good working knowledge of consumer loan products, mortgage loan documentation, and regulations, is highly desirable.
