About The Position

At OneMain, Loan Sales Specialists help customers access friendly, fast, and affordable financing by listening to their needs and presenting tailored solutions. The position is onsite and scheduled Monday through Friday during standard business hours, with extended weekday hours as needed and possible Saturday work. Specialists manage loans through their life cycle, including collections, and communicate with customers and other departments through phone, email, chat, and internal systems. They also explain optional insurance products and ensure customers understand loan terms and available options.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Adapt and multitask to meet the changing demands of the role while providing timely, efficient service.
• Meet customer expectations with ease, empathy, and encouragement while achieving individual and branch goals.
• Build new customer connections and maintain relationships throughout the loan process and life cycle.
• Present solutions tailored to customers’ needs.
• Manage loans throughout their life cycle, including collections activities, while complying with applicable laws and regulations.
• Communicate with customers and other departments through phone, email, chat, and in-house systems.
• Maintain a goal-oriented drive to achieve results.
• Clearly explain optional insurance products, loan terms, and customer options.
