About The Position

AgSouth is seeking a Loan Post Closing Coordinator to join its Farm Credit family. The position delivers customer service by facilitating and processing post-loan-closing activities, completing file documentation, and ensuring procedures are followed to finalize loans with accurate and compliant legal documentation. The coordinator supports the sales and lending function, assists customers and branch operations, and collaborates with branch team members, marketing staff, and the facilities manager.

Requirements

• Education and/or experience equivalent to a high school diploma.
• Good knowledge of general office routines and use of office equipment, including phones, computers, copiers, and scanners.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Self-motivated, with the ability and desire to learn and willingness to apply new procedures and concepts.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member under minimal supervision.
• Excellent computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• 1–3 years of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify loans in the loan origination system in a timely manner, identify errors, and correct discrepancies when necessary.
• Follow up with all parties to ensure required loan-file documents are received, scanned, and stored efficiently and properly.
• Provide prompt and courteous service to existing and potential customers and share general information about policies and procedures.
• Ensure daily accounting activities, including receipts and disbursements, are handled properly, accurately, and on time.
• Maintain customer or loan information in systems as needed.
• Assist with general administrative duties supporting branch operations.
• Support and assist with local-level public relations.
• Maintain internal controls in accordance with accounting principles, policies, and procedures.
• Partner and collaborate with branch team members, marketing staff, and the facilities manager.
