This position is responsible for booking and advancing commercial loans, perfecting collateral liens, specialty reporting functions, and providing extraordinary customer service to internal and external customers. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of banking experience with loan operations duties and/or training; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy and close attention to detail.
  • Proven team player.
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage time to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive and professional attitude in an open, team environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Minimum 1 year of previous experience with loan operations duties and /or training.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of FIS IBS Insight a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately book and check back commercial loans within agreed upon service level standards both for new and modified loans.
  • Identify and track commercial loan document exceptions with the ability to review and process clearance of said exceptions.
  • Process collateral lien perfection ensuring bank’s position is in line with credit approval and ensure collateral lien releases are accurately and timely released on paid out loans.
  • Will be responsible for loan file and document management duties as assigned.
  • Process loan payments, including necessary research as needed.
  • Daily review of general ledgers ensuring loans balance and outages are expediently cleared within established expectations.
  • Answer calls and research issues from both internal and external customers.
  • Effectively process and resolve internal ticket cases within expected service level standards.
  • Actively assist with complaint management resolution to bring about expedient and accurate closure of cases within established service level standards.
  • Process the input and check back of automatic transfer requests.
  • Review assigned system reports to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Process daily participation desk transactions.
  • Must be customer service focused with the ability to collaborate with internal partners to effectively produce accurate and timely results.
  • Attention to detail with ability to identify issues and escalate to management.
  • Cross train on other roles and willingness to assume additional duties within the department, including, but not limited to, floorplan operational functions.
  • Assist management with cross training of new and existing team members.
  • Adheres to bank’s policies and procedures and complies with regulatory requirements.
  • Will perform special projects as assigned.
