Commercial Loan Officer I
About The Position
This is a senior-level lending position responsible for obtaining and developing a quality loan portfolio with annual performance goals while managing an existing portfolio. The role involves handling various loan types including Construction, Commercial, Commercial Real Estate, Consumer, and Consumer Real Estate Loans. The Commercial Lender will promote BancFirst services by cross-selling banking products to new and existing clientele, participating in community events, and consistently executing policies and procedures. Extraordinary customer service is expected at all times, and outside business development calls are required. This role also includes assisting with other job-related duties as requested by a supervisor/manager. Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this position. Requirements
- Bachelor Degree required (Business major or Formal Credit training preferred)
- Minimum 1-3 years experience as an underwriting Commercial Loan Officer
- Experience in negotiating loan workouts and asset liquidations
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and write detailed credit memorandums
- Current working knowledge of Regulatory Compliance requirements including, but not limited to, RESPA, HMDA, and Fair Lending
- Ability to grow quality portfolio with annual performance goals
- Promote Retail/Cash Management products to new and existing relationships
- Willing to participate in community events
- Outside business development calls required
- Work well under stress and deadlines while managing multiple tasks
- Able to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing
