Requirements

  • No prior Loan Officer experience required.
  • Smart, driven people ready to prove they belong in a high-performance sales environment.
  • Fast climbers who can keep up with a fast-paced, in-depth learning curve.
  • Real, meaningful sales experience ("hard sales") within the last 5 years.
  • Experience where you influenced buying decisions from start to finish (not order-taking or passive upselling).
  • Experience where you had ownership of your outcomes, often tied to goals, metrics, or earnings/commissions.
  • Experience handling objections, following up with leads, and earning the sale.
  • Experience building trust, tailoring a solution, and closing the deal.
  • Experience in selling that builds real skill and translates well to the environment (in-person or over the phone, B2B or B2C).
  • Seeking to establish and maintain a career as a salesperson.
  • Thrive working remotely and staying self-motivated.
  • Succeeded in fast-paced or performance-based roles.
  • Bring a strong competitive drive and hunger to earn.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers.
  • Stay focused under pressure and in high-volume settings.
  • Ability to learn quickly is essential.
  • Reside in one of the following states: AL, AZ, AR, FL, GA (all counties except DeKalb and Fulton), ID, IA, KS, MS, MO, MT, OK, TX, UT, and VA.

Responsibilities

  • Play a vital role in helping clients achieve the dream of homeownership.
  • Fulfill the vision of changing the way mortgages are done – by making homeownership more affordable, accessible, and achievable.
  • Guide clients through the home loan process.
  • Work with hot/warm leads; no cold calling required.
  • Act as an elite closer, thriving on guiding qualified leads to the finish line.
  • Learn the loan origination process.
  • Gain hands-on experience.
  • Sharpen existing sales skills.
  • Register with the NMLS (Neighbors Bank will help facilitate and cover the full cost).
