About The Position

As a Loan Consultant, you will be a key contributor to growing Fairstone Bank's business. Your role involves actively promoting and selling loan and protection products within a fast-paced, sales-driven environment. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs to recommend appropriate financial solutions and managing the entire sales process, from application to closing, both in person and virtually. Building strong relationships and earning trust through excellent service is crucial, as is staying focused on individual and team sales goals. Additionally, you will perform credit assessments, process payments, and manage overdue accounts.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience with a focus on meeting/exceeding targets
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
• A customer-first mindset and a passion for delivering value
• Must be able to communicate in both French and English with our customers across Canada (40% in French and 60% in English)

Nice To Haves

• Post-secondary education in finance, sales, or business is an asset
