About The Position

The Loan Closing Specialist is responsible for completing due diligence associated with commercial loan documentation and the loan closing process. The role works under the instructions of Regional or Industry Closing Managers. The specialist is the primary data-entry person in nCino, reviews loan boarding activity in AFS and Collate to ensure loans are boarded accurately, and communicates funding information accurately and promptly to the funding team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in Commercial Banking.
• At least 5 years of experience closing loans.
• Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Organizational and time-management skills.
• Understanding of bank policies and procedures related to satisfying loan closing conditions, documents, and services.

Nice To Haves

• Prior closing experience, credit experience, or an understanding of credit experience.

Responsibilities
