About The Position

First Service Bank is hiring a full-time Loan Assistant in Maumelle, Arkansas. The Loan Assistant supports the lending team by processing new loans, assisting with renewals, gathering required documents, and keeping loan details and procedures organized. The role involves daily collaboration with Loan Officers, Loan Operations, and customers to help ensure loans are handled accurately and carefully.

This position is suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, supportive, team-oriented environment and brings strong organization and attention to detail. Applicants must live within 30 miles of Maumelle, Arkansas, or be willing to relocate. The bank’s standard operating hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position includes branch opening and closing procedures, which may require reporting up to 15 minutes before opening or staying up to 15 minutes after closing.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree; a business-related field is preferred.
• 1–2 years of business office work experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and web-based technology.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
• Service-oriented approach, excellent time management, and ability to multitask.
• Must be located within 30 miles of Maumelle, Arkansas, or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities
