About The Position

Loaders wrap and load pallets onto trailers using a pallet jack. They may work in the dry or cooler departments of the warehouse and are responsible for ensuring pallets are loaded correctly. The role pays a flat hourly rate plus a piece rate.

This is a second-shift position scheduled Sunday through Thursday. The shift starts in the afternoon and continues until the work is complete. Employees have Fridays and Saturdays off. Shifts are 10–12 hours, and overtime may be required based on workload.

Requirements

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work 10–12-hour shifts; overtime may be required based on workload.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in chilled areas when needed.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work well on a team while also being self-motivated and independent.
• Excellent organizational skills to ensure pallets are loaded correctly.

Responsibilities

• Wrap pallets according to standards to ensure proper transport.
• Visually inspect items to ensure orders are correct, undamaged, and ready for shipment.
• Load pallets onto trucks in the correct order.
• Operate equipment and follow safety regulations.
• Perform other general warehouse duties as needed.
