About The Position

Drive Medical is hiring second-shift Warehouse Loaders to load and unload medical equipment for shipment. The role involves operating a stand-up forklift and electric pallet jack or pacer to move products and load trailers. Products range from canes and wheelchairs to in-home hospital beds. Loaders contribute to safety, quality, and service performance by ensuring orders are accurate, complete, and securely prepared for shipment.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Forklift experience is required.

Requirements

• Forklift experience is required.
• Ability to operate a stand-up forklift and an electric pallet jack or pacer.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload medical equipment and customer orders onto trailers.
• Follow daily checklists for trailers and equipment.
• Operate an electric pallet jack or pacer to move products, load and unload trailers, and organize the dock floor.
• Stage equipment and use equipment to wrap and secure products to pallets.
• Record the number of pallets handled or moved on load manifest sheets and record trailers loaded.
• Maintain loading accuracy and use proper Bills of Lading (BOLs).
• Verify orders are complete before shipping.
• Communicate truck status to supervisors and other coordinators.
• Use a banding machine to strap pallets when needed.
• Participate in a continuous-improvement environment.
