About The Position

The Loader/Unloader (Crating) is responsible for fabricating wooden crates for shipping, completing job cleanups, and preparing small-job parts and orders. The position loads windows and accessories and ensures products are safely packaged in crates to minimize the possibility of damage. It also involves completing accurate shipping documents and assisting with trailer loading once crating duties are complete. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization skills under time constraints.
• Effective communication skills with peers and management.
• Willingness to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Previous manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate wooden crates for shipping.
• Complete job cleanups and prepare small-job parts and orders.
• Load windows and accessories.
• Package products safely in crates to minimize the possibility of damage.
• Complete shipping documents accurately.
• Assist in loading trailers when crating duties are complete.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
