About The Position

Cargill is hiring a Loader - Unloader for its Ag & Trading enterprise, which connects producers and users of grains and oilseeds through origination, trading, processing, and distribution. The role supports the facility’s bulk-material loading and unloading operations and helps maintain safe, clean, and efficient facility operations. This is a full-time position with a rotating shift and compensation of $24.46 per hour. Relocation reimbursement is not included.

Requirements

Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to understand and communicate in English verbally and in writing.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, potentially including heat, cold, dust, and loud noise, while using personal protective equipment.
Ability to work in elevated areas of 4 feet or higher.
Ability to perform physical duties that may include bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with advance notice.

Nice To Haves

Basic experience troubleshooting mechanical components and systems.
Experience working in a production-related role.

Responsibilities

Operate equipment used in bulk-material loading and unloading, including equipment for trucks and rail cars, scales, pumps, conveyors, and mobile equipment.
Create scale tickets, collect product samples, and supervise tank inventory; use computer systems to enter and record data as needed.
Inspect facility buildings, grounds, and equipment, and perform light maintenance and repair work.
Work with peers and management to continually improve facility operations and promote teamwork.
Provide a high level of customer service.
Understand and follow all policies and procedures.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
