Hitch Loader / Unloader
About The Position
Flex-N-Gate is a manufacturer and supplier of components for the automotive industry. The Hitch Loader / Unloader is responsible for producing quality parts while maintaining the required rate. The position loads and unloads metal hitches onto a conveyor line for painting and follows written and oral instructions. First- and second-shift availability is noted, and the hourly rate starts at $20.25. The role requires working in a high-paced environment, following applicable process, quality, safety, and housekeeping standards, and reporting equipment, scrap, quality, and safety issues through the appropriate channels. Working conditions may include hot and cold environments and substantial standing, lifting, carrying, and pushing or pulling. Overtime may be required, and required personal protective equipment must be worn at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience is preferred but not required.
- Complete and pass Ventra GR29 LOTO training.
- Ability to perform in a high-paced environment.
- Ability to work in cold and hot environments.
- Upper-body mobility and ability to lift, carry, push, and pull.
- Ability to stand 90% of the time.
- Ability to lift, carry, or move 1 to 50 pounds using one or two hands.
- Ability to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities
- Load and unload metal hitches onto a conveyor line to be painted.
- Read and follow process and work instructions, including oral instructions.
- Perform jobs within the operation of the assigned work area.
- Use the Help Chain for equipment problems and scrap or quality issues.
- Follow IATF 16949 requirements and standards.
- Follow ISO 14001 requirements and standards.
- Maintain 5S housekeeping standards in the assigned work area.
- Immediately report safety issues to a supervisor, team leader, or management staff.
- Comply with company policies, work rules, safety standards, and housekeeping policies.
- Wear required personal protective equipment at all times.
