About The Position
ConGlobal is hiring a full-time Car Loader/Unloader for its terminal operations in Milpitas, California. The role involves safely driving vehicles onto and off railcars and parking them in designated areas for inventory checks, processing, and quality control. The position requires attention to safety and detail to support efficient operations and protect cargo. Starting pay is $27.58 per hour. The schedule starts at 5:00 a.m. or 6:00 a.m., five days per week, with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday required. A valid driver’s license is required. Applicants must pass pre-employment background verification and drug screening.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds overhead while standing.
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs on and off railcars.
- Open availability to work five days per week, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Must pass a pre-employment background verification and drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Manual transmission experience is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Drive vehicles onto and off railcars safely and efficiently.
