About The Position

RSI Group (SmartCap®), a manufacturer and supplier of pickup truck caps and related accessories, is seeking an evening shift Loader/Unloader for its Paint Department. The position loads and unloads metal components on the paint line and supports their safe, efficient movement through the powder coating process. The role contributes to production flow, product quality, and workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Load metal components onto paint line racks, hooks, and fixtures before powder coating.
• Unload painted components after curing and place them in designated staging areas.
• Hang, position, and secure parts to support complete and consistent coating coverage.
• Inspect parts before loading to verify they are clean, properly prepared, and free of visible defects.
• Remove masking materials and inspect finished parts for handling damage after unloading.
• Follow production schedules to maintain continuous workflow throughout the paint line.
• Safely transport parts and materials between production areas as needed.
• Assist Powder Coaters and Paint Quality Inspectors in supporting daily production goals.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the paint line, racks, and work area.
• Follow company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental procedures.
• Report damaged materials, equipment issues, or production concerns to the supervisor.
• Perform other production duties as assigned.
