Loader Operator - Ground Operations & General Labor
About The Position
Fenix Parts is seeking a dependable Loader Operator to support daily yard and production operations. The role involves safely operating loaders and other assigned equipment, as well as substantial ground-level, hands-on work throughout the shift. Duties include material handling, yard organization and cleanup, moving vehicles and parts, and assisting other operational areas as needed. The operator will frequently enter and exit equipment to complete ground-level duties and must follow safety procedures around vehicles, heavy equipment, and active production areas. Requirements
- Automotive background and heavy equipment experience.
- Previous heavy equipment operating experience, general maintenance experience, and understanding of mechanical equipment.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. continuously throughout the day.
- Basic computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate loaders and other assigned equipment to support daily yard and production operations.
- Perform ground-level work in addition to operating equipment.
- Move, sort, stage, and organize vehicles, parts, materials, and scrap.
- Perform yard cleanup and housekeeping, remove debris, and maintain safe, clear work areas.
- Assist yard and production employees with physical tasks as operational needs require.
- Enter and exit equipment frequently throughout the shift to complete ground-level duties.
- Follow safety procedures while working around vehicles, heavy equipment, and active production areas.
- Perform other general labor and yard duties as assigned.
