About The Position

Fisher Industries is hiring a Loader Operator to operate a wheel loader and load or transport materials such as dirt, rocks, gravel, sand, and demolition debris. The role is responsible for operating the equipment safely and efficiently, meeting project specifications, and servicing and maintaining the machine. The position requires travel near and around New River, Arizona, overnight travel, and night-shift work.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must hold an M.S.H.A. 5000-23 certificate and be Part 48 Mining Certified.
• Able to operate equipment efficiently to maintain project specifications.
• Team player.
• Mechanical knowledge of equipment and ability to perform routine maintenance.
• Night-shift work and travel are required.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of a heavy equipment operator training program.
• Valid commercial driver's license.
• OSHA certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment efficiently to maintain production goals and meet project specifications.
• Assist with setup and teardown of plants.
• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and service on equipment as required or directed by a supervisor.
• Perform daily housekeeping of equipment and plant, or as directed by a supervisor.
• Lift objects weighing 80 pounds on a regular basis and use a shovel to move material as needed.
• Perform all duties within M.S.H.A. safety guidelines and company policy.
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections before startup.
• Travel overnight as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
