About The Position

The Loader Operator moves and loads vehicles using a company-provided front-end loader or forklift and maintains documentation of vehicle movement around the facility. The role includes conducting and documenting daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment, maintaining a safe work environment, and following company guidelines for safe loader operation. The operator applies knowledge of Copart policies to help provide customers with solutions and a positive experience.

Requirements

At least two years of work experience, preferably in an outdoor environment.
One year of loader or forklift experience.
Excellent customer service attitude and skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Positive attitude and high integrity.
Ability to operate heavy equipment.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Occasional overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Loader or forklift certification preferred.
Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintain equipment according to company standards and customer contracts.
Operate company equipment safely.
Assist with maintenance of company equipment and vehicles.
Record vehicle information accurately and legibly.
Operate digital cameras and other basic vehicle documentation and tracking devices.
Set up the yard for auctions within company timelines.
Provide customer service as needed.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor.
Follow yard safety guidelines, including speed limits.
Load and unload vehicles as required.
Pass required training and safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain documentation of vehicle movement around the facility.
Complete and document daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment.
