About The Position

Oil States Industries, Inc. is hiring a Load Prep I in Lampasas, Texas. The position prepares and operates machines to process and produce high-quality products. The operator works under supervision and supports production by preparing materials, processing rubber into loads, operating a clicker machine, and performing basic assembly and fabrication. The role also includes equipment cleanup and maintenance, labeling production pans, and maintaining a clean work area.

Requirements

• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to convert weights and measures.
• Written and verbal communication comprehension skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to follow safe work practices and instructions, including care with sharp cutting tools.
• Ability to work in temperatures over 100 degrees.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Make certain all materials for production are available.
• Assist in operating the Extruder to process rubber into loads.
• Assist in operating the Barwell to process rubber into loads.
• Operate the clicker machine.
• Perform basic assembly and fabrication.
• Clean and maintain equipment after each use.
• Tag and label pans with correct information.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
