About The Position
Digital Room is hiring a Folder Operator for its plant in Van Nuys, California. The role operates a folding machine to produce folds according to job specifications, monitors and adjusts the machine during production, and records job and operational data in the IMS system. The position is on the second shift, Monday through Friday, from 1:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., with pay of $19–$21 per hour. Required overtime may be needed based on business needs. The position requires standing for eight hours and lifting up to 50 pounds for 50% of the time, as well as walking and moving around the work area for 50% of the time. The work environment is described as fast-paced, high-tech, safe, and enjoyable. Compensation within the stated range depends on factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.

Responsibilities
- Use the IMS program to determine priority jobs and set the day's workload.
- Place printed jobs on the folding machine and set it up to produce bifold or trifold folds according to job specifications.
- Observe the folding machine while it is running, make adjustments as needed, and ensure smooth and accurate production.
- Replace worn-out rubber stoppers and adjust them for accurate folds, using hand tools when required.
- Record production and operational data in the IMS system, including completed jobs.
- Report workplace hazards to management immediately.
- Keep equipment, tools, and workstations in good working order and free of safety hazards.
- Be available for required overtime based on business needs.
- Proactively complete other duties as assigned.
