About The Position

Precision Terminal Logistics is seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Loader to efficiently load and unload materials while following safety protocols. The role involves manual labor, working outdoors in various weather conditions, using personal protective equipment and tools, and following procedures for handling and storing materials, including hazardous substances when applicable. The Loader maintains written records, communicates with teammates and management, participates in safety training and meetings, and performs equipment maintenance and housekeeping duties as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English, including completing documentation and incident reports.
Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and adapt to changing environmental factors.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety protocols and procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with reliability and dependability in completing assigned tasks.
Willingness to undergo hands-on supervised training.
Ability to pass pre-employment background screening and drug testing.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and use appropriate tools to complete tasks safely.
Climb up and down railcars, trailers, and other elevated platforms using the three-point contact technique.
Lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 80 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
Perform tasks involving stooping, bending, squatting, and standing for extended periods.
Work outdoors in various weather conditions and adapt to environmental factors.
Maintain written documentation, including checklists, arrivals and departures, and records of incidents or safety concerns.
Communicate with team members about verification processes, raise safety concerns, and report incidents promptly.
Collaborate with management to support workplace efficiency and adherence to schedules.
Follow procedures for the safe handling and storage of materials, including hazardous substances when applicable.
Attend safety training and daily safety meetings and follow company policies and procedures.
Perform equipment maintenance as needed.
Perform housekeeping duties as required, including cleaning bathrooms and breakrooms, taking out trash, weed control, washing equipment, shoveling, maintaining shop areas, and painting.
