About The Position

Digital Room is hiring an ABG Operator for its plant in Van Nuys, California. This role operates an ABG machine to process print jobs, preparing rolls and dies, monitoring machine performance, and recording production data. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday on the second shift, from 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and requires availability for overtime as needed based on business needs. The work includes standing for extended periods, moving around the work area, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Access the IMS program to determine priority jobs and set the workload for the day.
Retrieve printed rolls from the table and mount them on the roller that feeds them through the machine.
Set up the correct rolling die for the job and ensure cutters are set to the correct length.
Observe the ABG machine while it is running, making adjustments to ensure accurate counts and cuts and smooth operation.
Replace worn cutter blades and adjust or clean rollers to support safe and accurate operation.
Record production and operational data in the IMS system, including completed jobs.
Immediately report workplace hazards to management.
Ensure equipment, tools, and workstations are in good working order and free of safety hazards.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Be available for required overtime based on business needs.
