About The Position

This is an 11-week summer internship program for the Load Logistics Manager, Transportation role within Walmart Supply Chain's End-to-End (E2E) Delivery organization. The program aims to provide interns with hands-on experience in the world's largest retailer, working with teams that are transforming the shopping experience. Interns will undertake an individual project aligned with their skills, gain direct access to leadership, participate in executive-led speaker sessions, community outreach, networking events, and learning & development opportunities. The role is structured as a full-time associate position with compensation and housing assistance provided, offering a potential start to an exciting career at Walmart.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program currently
  • Expected graduation date between December 2027-August 2028
  • Focus on meeting internal and external customer needs.
  • Demonstrate professional judgment by making informed decisions based on data.

  • Ensure high-quality transportation operations by adhering to company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the operation of multiple departments and perform various job-related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as needed.
  • Communicate efficiently with customers, suppliers, and associates both verbally and in writing.
  • Maintain quality and safety standards by training associates on logistics and company policies.
  • Monitor and manage productivity by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports.
  • Dispatch drivers while complying with Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Identify and resolve concerns of associates, customers, and suppliers.
  • Implement business plans to meet facility goals related to production, quality, and safety.
