The Load Coordinator prepares paperwork and invoices loads, ensures required weights are obtained, and communicates with load coordinators, shag drivers, supervisors, corporate teams, transportation, and shipping management to keep loads moving on time. The role checks that paperwork is accurate, including bill-to and ship-to information, and ensures paperwork is provided to transportation promptly—typically within 15–20 minutes per average load, with exceptions for larger loads. The position also handles customer-specific requirements, export documentation and labeling, and hand billing when needed. It helps train new team members and supports timely completion of standard and export loads.
