About The Position

The Load Builder/Assembler, sometimes referred to as a Router, receives finished product from other departments and places it into route carts or bins for delivery or storage. The role works at a rapid rate to keep up with product flow and may perform other production tasks as needed. This is a non-exempt position paying $19.29 per hour. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or 2:30 p.m.; Saturday work may be required after a holiday. The position is based in the production areas of an industrial laundry facility, where conditions may include variations in temperature, odors, humidity, lint, and dust. No travel is required, and no education is listed. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of drug screening.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Receive finished, clean product from other departments.
Read written packing requirements and place the correct type and number of products into appropriate route carts, bins, or storage.
Work at a rapid rate to keep up with product flow to the load-building area.
Transfer carts or bins into delivery vehicles or to designated areas.
Identify and notify supervision of product shortages.
Handle products to maintain their quality and proper packaging.
Meet the position's efficiency and safety standards continuously.
Follow instructions from supervision.
Keep the work area neat and clean.
Perform other tasks as required.
Work in other production positions as needed.
