About The Position

The Load Builder receives finished, cleaned products from production departments and organizes them into route carts, bins, or storage locations for delivery or storage. This role assembles customer orders for shipment as part of the production and distribution team and reports to the Production Manager.

The position involves maintaining product flow in the load-building area to support delivery schedules, identifying and reporting shortages, discrepancies, or quality concerns, and meeting established productivity, quality, and safety standards. The Load Builder must use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriately and log in and out of Spindle, the internal productivity tracking system.

The work involves physical tasks throughout the shift in production areas of an industrial laundry facility. Conditions may include temperature variations, humidity, odors, lint, and dust. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background and drug screening.

Requirements

• Recognize product colors, sizes, and types.
• Count and sort textiles for order assembly.
• Inspect finished products to identify quality concerns.
• Follow written packing instructions and operational procedures.
• Perform physical tasks including standing and walking for extended periods, reaching overhead, pushing and pulling carts or bins, grasping and handling textiles, lifting up to 25 pounds, and stooping or bending.
• Successfully complete background and drug screening as a condition of employment.

• Log in and out of Spindle, the internal productivity tracking system.
