About The Position

The Load Builder 2 is responsible for building loads for delivery. The role also involves loading and unloading lumber and building supplies, operating a forklift, and maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard. The employee keeps management informed of delays or discrepancies and performs other duties as assigned.

The position is located at 1648 N Shaw Rd, Stockton, CA 95215. Pay is $19.00 or more per hour, depending on experience, plus benefits.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; and effectively present information to others one-on-one.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding, carry out simple one- or two-step instructions, and deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Responsibilities

• Build loads for delivery.
• Load and unload lumber and building supplies.
• Operate a forklift.
• Keep management aware of delays or discrepancies.
• Keep the lumber yard clean, well-organized, and safe.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
