About The Position
The Load Assembler and Inspector works within shipping and receiving to prepare orders for shipment and perform final quality and appearance inspections. The role checks shipments against orders, ensures they are supported according to load specifications, and reports shortages. It also involves crafting braces and supports, assembling orders, and labeling and securing truck bodies.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of pallet jacks, forklifts, and dollies is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Work within shipping and receiving.
- Craft braces and supports for shipment according to load specifications and requirements.
- Assemble orders for shipment.
- Count, weigh, and check shipments against shipping orders and report shortages.
- Label and secure truck bodies.
- Perform final inspections for the quality and appearance of equipment.
