About The Position

The Assembler Advanced handles light- and average-weight parts using hand and power tools. The role involves assembling Dry Freight body sides from parts pulled from inventory according to job orders, installing body components and interior materials, and mounting and connecting auxiliary equipment. The position is located in Reading, Pennsylvania, and is identified as a third-shift role.

Responsibilities

• Manually pull all parts from inventory based on the job order.
• Assemble parts according to the job order to form Dry Freight body sides.
• Assemble, install, or remove body parts.
• Use a circular saw to cut plywood sheets for installation on unit interior walls.
• Use a band saw to cut e-track for installation on unit interior walls.
• Install plywood and e-track using a screw gun and rivet gun.
• Uncoil roofing material, measure and shear it to size, and install it on top of the truck body.
• Mount and connect auxiliary, mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, or hydraulic equipment.
• Use an overhead catwalk.
