About The Position

BHE GT&S has an exciting career opportunity for an LNG Supply Chain Facility Coordinator located at our Cove Point facility located in Lusby, MD. This role assists in planning and administering daily warehouse activities, maintaining inventory levels consistent with the needs of the facility, and maintaining internal procedures for receiving, storing, and issuing materials. The LNG Facility Warehouse Coordination involves managing materials and inventory, planning the staging and organization of materials within warehouses, and ensuring a safe, clean, and organized environment. Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, and verifying material accuracy against orders, establishing and maintaining procedures for material handling, and serving as the site representative for corporate supply chain management activities. The role ensures compliance with legal, regulatory, and procedural requirements, monitors materials and procurement using performance indicators, and assists in maintaining appropriate inventory levels. It involves understanding critical work activities, tracking priority materials, and coordinating delivery dates with various teams. The position also works closely with maintenance to manage obsolete and replacement materials, identifies process improvement opportunities, and provides analytical support for inventory optimization and cost management. Ensuring appropriate stocking levels, providing backup coverage for departmental reporting, and potentially serving as a contact for service contractors are also key duties. Support for facility work planning, including the development of bills of materials, and maintaining documentation are required. Coordination of repairable material activities and building cooperative relationships with other departments are essential. The role requires scheduled on-call availability for 24/7 operations and emergency needs, and performing additional responsibilities as assigned. The ability to operate warehouse equipment like forklifts and excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills are necessary.

Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years Warehousing and Maintenance experience
  • Prior work experience using Oracle, SAP, or Maximo Warehouse Inventory Management software applications.
  • Working knowledge (5+ years) of supply management techniques, materials management, and inventory control preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of plant operations, maintenance and design control.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of computer applications and systems.
  • Skilled in the use of a computer and Microsoft Office related software.
  • Effective project management and planning skills to plan workflow, coordinate projects, establish a plan of action to accomplish goals and resolve conflicting demands.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates leadership skill, skilled in the ability to influence people without authority.

Responsibilities

  • Provides LNG Facility Warehouse Coordination materials and Inventory Management.
  • Plans the staging and efficient organization of materials within the warehouses maintaining the warehouse in a safe, clean, and organized environment.
  • Receive material, remove packing, inspect material, and check for accuracy against order.
  • Assists in establishing and maintaining internal procedures for receiving, storing, shipping, and issuing materials.
  • Serves as the site representative for all corporate supply chain management activities and initiatives.
  • Ensures Facility remains compliant with all Legal regulatory and procedural requirements governing supply chain management.
  • Monitors materials and procurement activities using performance indicator monitoring to ensure fulfillment of business requirements including issue resolution and that suppliers meet business requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory levels consistent with the needs of the facility.
  • Ensures site material needs are met by understanding critical upcoming planned work activities and tracking priority materials for daily and outage material requirements.
  • Coordinates plans and meets material target delivery dates collaborating with sourcing teams expeditors transportation and warehousing.
  • Works closely with maintenance to determine if plant equipment is obsolete; provides oversight to include the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) in the disposal obsolete material and new replacement material.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement efficiency, standardization and improvements to ensure evaluation of the entire process from acquisition to disposal.
  • Provides in-depth analytical support through various Inventory Optimization techniques process management and business intelligence to support consistency cost management and operational excellence improvements.
  • Ensures stocking levels are appropriate when considering the operational constraints Provides high-level backup coverage for departmental reporting.
  • May serve as site representative and site contact for specific service contractors such as HVAC landscaping and elevators.
  • Supports facility work planning as needed to include establishment of new materials including the development of bills of materials and stockroom efficiencies.
  • Maintain appropriate warehouse/material documentation and labeling.
  • Coordinate repairable material activities with procurement and maintenance.
  • Build and maintain cooperative working relationships with other departments, including Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain and Administration.
  • Maintain scheduled on-call availability to support 24 hours per day and seven days per week operation and emergency needs.
  • Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts.
