Meridian is seeking an LMS Configuration Specialist to work onsite in Chantilly, VA. The Configuration Specialist position is one that is highly collaborative with other members of the client talent development team. This position will serve as advanced functional application support, playing acritical role in educating client staff and supporting the rollout of the Meridian Learning Management System (LMS) to the workforce by preparing information and training materials, documenting workflows, supporting implementation decisions, and transitioning existing content into the LMS.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
5+ years related work experience
Federal Government TS Security Clearance TS/SCI Full Scope Poly (ISSA)

Nice To Haves

3 or more years of Learning Management Systems experience
Experience administering and coordinating regulatory and/or compliance training
Strong customer service orientation
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to manage confidential data securely and discretely
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with people from diverse backgrounds

Responsibilities

Manage the standards, procedures, reporting (including creating and running standard and ad hoc reports) and overall functionality of the Meridian LMS. This includes implementing several MS features that deliver enhanced personalization, accessibility, and efficiency in managing administrative and reporting requirements.
Work with the client in developing best approaches to use the Meridian software as a means to accomplish their LMS objectives
Work with client to define configuration requirements as well as create supporting functional designs
Collaborate with, consult, and advise instructional designers and other key stakeholders of the LMS environment to support the development and deployment of content
Support global system administrators in use of the Meridian LMS
Create detailed, ad hoc job aids as needed
Work with cross-functional project teams through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)on documenting and translating business requirements
Troubleshoot application and implementation issues by taking ownership of questions, researching application issues and providing appropriate solutions
Provide product feedback (customer requirements, product shortcomings, enhancements, etc.) to product management and/or development
Conduct informal and formal training sessions on related topics of interest to the client staff
