Live Production Manager (NRH)

Gateway Church•North Richland Hills, TX

About The Position

The Live Production Campus Manager leads live production at one campus and serves as the single point of contact for worship, ministry, and live production there. The role owns technical execution for campus services and events, including audio, video, lighting, equipment, and the Serve Team that operates them. It executes the churchwide technical standard rather than establishing a separate standard, holds a dotted-line relationship to Central Live Production, and participates in centrally run projects and events. The manager recruits, trains, schedules, retains, and appreciates the campus live production Serve Team, and leads and disciples team members spiritually and professionally. The role maintains and troubleshoots campus production systems, carries out first-line diagnosis and repair across audio, video, and lighting, keeps documentation and show files current, and escalates faults to the region’s Systems Engineer when appropriate. It also manages the campus production budget and purchases within the approved threshold, coordinates with worship and ministry leaders, and supports rehearsals, services, and special events. Weekend and evening work, travel to other campuses as needed, and participation in churchwide events may be required by the ministry calendar. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least five years of live production experience. A bachelor’s degree or technical certification in audio, video, or lighting, and prior experience in a multisite church environment, are preferred. The employee must be a Gateway Church member or become one upon employment.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Five or more years of live production experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of audio, video, and lighting systems, live production workflow, and the engineering needed to troubleshoot and keep systems operational.
  • Ability to maintain, support, and troubleshoot AVL systems independently and recognize when a fault requires an engineer.
  • Willingness to be trained and assessed to an agreed competence standard and to keep that standard current as systems change.
  • Working knowledge of all areas of audio, video, and lighting, as well as live production administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and lead a Serve Team.
